The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will release a report today that finds a “serious shortage of minority faces” on the networks’ primetime schedules, Daily Variety reports. The study shows that minorities on scripted shows decreased in the 2006-2007 season on CBS, Fox and NBC, while ABC increased minority-cast roles to 116 that season from 74 in the 2002-2003 season.
