Animal Planet plans three new show debuts in 2009, Daily Variety reports. “Animal Armageddon,” about the impact of catastrophic events during the earth’s development that impacted living things, will begin in February, while “River Monsters” will debut in April and feature different freshwater predators. “Beverly Hills Groomer” will air in May.
