Media outlets are changing their stance on prohibiting certain kinds of ads after the traditional staples have begun cutting back on spending, the Los Angeles Times reports. During commercials for last Sunday’s Grammy Awards, viewers in Los Angeles saw spots for Absolut Vodka and KY Jelly, the newspaper says. The NBA, Google and Facebook have made similar changes to their ad policies, particular with hard alcohol advertising, the Times notes.
