Barbara Walters and Steve Kroft of CBS’ “60 Minutes” said the future of nighttime network newscasts is limited because viewers can get much of the information on the Internet, the Hollywood Reporter says. Both also said that people representing interview subjects put far more restrictions on questions that are allowed to be asked than when the correspondents broke into the business decades ago, the newspaper reports.
