“Taken in Broad Daylight,” the film based on a true story about a kidnapped teen who orchestrated her own rescue, attracted 1.9 million viewers during its Feb. 15 premier on Lifetime Movie Network, making the movie the second most-watched show in the channel’s 10-year history, Multichannel News reports. James Van Der Beek and Sara Canning starred in the film, Multichannel News says.
