After landing a wildly successful new role playing Cookie on Fox’s breakout drama series “Empire,” actress Taraji P. Henson is headed back to her old stomping grounds.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Henson will rejoin the CBS drama “Person of Interest” in a guest role. The move comes even though her character on the show, Det. Joss Carter, was killed off.

The April 14 installment of “Person of Interest” will feature Henson in flashbacks as Reese, played by Jim Caviezel, revisits a cold case that Carter previously investigated.
