Latino media company Univision today fired 300 employees, or about 6% of its workforce, as the company copes with almost $11 billion in debt, Daily Variety reports. Univision, which agreed in January to pay Televisa $25 million in unpaid royalties, had been cutting workers in recent months, the newspaper says.
