Under former NBC News president Andy Lack, Bloomberg TV laid off 100 employees including seasoned on-air reporters and has been putting producers and other behind-the-scenes staffers in front of the cameras, the New York Observer reports. “Is there any reasons for doing so other than saving money,” the paper asks. Bloomberg did not respond to requests for comment.
