Holt McCallany has been hired in the lead role of FX’s pilot “Lights Out,” which will be directed by Clark Johnson, the Hollywood Reporter says. McCallany will play a former heavyweight boxing champ battling pugilistic dementia and struggling to support his family, the trade paper says.
