While an actual GOP presidential debate on NBC appears to hang in the balance, NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” featured its own version of a GOP candidates’ debate, with the show’s host “moderating” clips of the actual Republican presidential candidates.

The bit comes amid tensions between NBC and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus following a contentious debate on CNBC. As we reported previously, Priebus sent a letter to NBC News Chairman Andrew Lack last month pulling the plug on a planned NBC debate in February.
