While videos of Scottish singer Susan Boyle performing on “Britain’s Got Talent” have been viewed 220 million times on YouTube, she has made little money for the television program’s producers or distributor, the New York Times says. It’s another example of how big media is finding it tough to make money from huge Internet audiences, the newspaper says. The Times points out that the show’s complexity, with its three production companies and separate distributor, adds to the difficulty of claiming rights to her videos.
