The annual programming event that Discovery Channel bills as television’s longest-running summer TV event is set to air from Sunday, July 23, to Sunday, July 30, and Discovery has taken the wraps off the full lineup of programming for Shark Week.
This year’s installment marks Shark Week’s 29th anniversary. It’s also the first time ever that Shark Week will premiere around the world in the same week, with the event set to take place in more than 220 countries and territories.
Highlights include the return of the late-night talk show “Shark After Dark,” hosted by Eli Roth; “Phelps vs. Shark,” featuring legendary Olympian Michael Phelps; and “Sharks and the City: New York,” narrated by Chris Noth.
