CBS has reportedly shut down production on one of its new comedies, according to TheWrap.com, which reports that the move comes after the network moved the show, “How to Be a Gentleman,” from prime Thursday night real estate to the “TV wasteland” of Saturday night.

The show has earned lower ratings than the canceled "$#*! My Dad Says" had last fall, the piece points out. Its second episode saw its ratings slide 7% among viewers 18 to 49. The comedy stars Kevin Dillon and was created by "It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia" veteran David Hornsby, the piece adds.

The program’s remaining seven episodes will air Saturday nights between repeats of "Two and a Half Men" and "CSI: Miami," the story adds.

The show has not been officially canceled yet, the story notes.
