Christiane Amanpour may be headed out from her position as anchor of ABC News’ "This Week," reports the New York Post’s Page Six.

Amanpour may be replaced with one of a number of other news anchors, with George Stephanopoulos possibly returning to the program and anchoring both "This Week" and "Good Morning America," the piece says. Other potential replacements include Terry Moran, Jake Tapper, Jonathan Karl and Matthew Dowd, the story adds.

Amanpour has been unhappy at ABC and her show has struggled with ratings, the story notes. Her role might change to that of global affairs anchor.

An ABC representative said Amanpour is "an incredibly valuable member of ABC News’ team," the piece notes.
