Lindsay Lohan, who recently posed as Marilyn Monroe for Playboy magazine, is in early discussions to portray one of the silver screen’s biggest stars, Elizabeth Taylor, in a television project, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The production would be a movie for Lifetime, which has been developing it since May, the story notes. Larry Thompson, an independent producer who previously worked on Lifetime’s "Amish Grace," is overseeing the Taylor project, the piece adds.

Lohan reportedly received $1 million for posing in the January/February issue of Playboy, the story says.
