CBS has picked up the pace on negotiations with Ashton Kutcher to keep the actor on "Two and a Half Men" for a another year, with the actor looking at what is shaping up as a lucrative deal, reports TVGuide.com.
His paycheck could be bumped up to $1 million per episode, from a reported $700,000 during his first season, reports The New York Post. Kutcher’s $700,000 rate already made him the highest-paid actor in TV comedy during the current season.
Kutcher signed a one-year deal when he joined the show, with his per-episode pay much less than the $1.25 million previously earned by Charlie Sheen, whom he replaced, the story points out.
