One of the stars of a well-known cable reality show has been arrested, TMZ.com reports. Arrested Wednesday in Florida was Joe LaFont, one of the cast members of History’s “Swamp People.”

LaFont, known on the show as Trapper Joe, was arrested in connection with a domestic violence case, the story reports.

Details of the incident weren’t known yet, although a source said LaFont and his girlfriend had been arguing. The story reported that LaFont was being held on $1,500 bond in Orange County.

The report adds: “You’ll recall … Joe and his stepson Tommy Chauvin were nearly killed in a nasty 5-car pile-up near the Arkansas-Louisiana state line back in April.”

LaFont has been on “Swamp People” since its first season. After debuting on History in 2010 the show is currently in its third season.
