NBC continues to rack up nightly ratings wins, coasting to a relatively comfortable victory Tuesday night on the strength of “The Voice,” based on Nielsen overnights. TVbytheNumbers.com reports that the singing competition notched a season high for a Tuesday episode with a 4.5 average in the key 18-49 demo, more than double the number for anything else on broadcast that night.

ABC got bad news in the numbers for its struggling celebrity diving show “Splash,” which sank to an all-time low with a 1.1 average rating in 18-49, losing 8% from last week’s less-than-stellar 1.2. The good news for ABC: It’s “Dancing with the Stars” ticked up 5% to a 2.1. “Body of Proof,” meanwhile, held steady with a 1.4.

It wasn’t all good news for NBC, either. Leading out from “The Voice,” the two-hour “Ready for Love” managed only a 1.3 average in the 18-49 demo, losing 13% from last week’s premiere.

CBS aired repeats of “NCIS” and “NCIS: Los Angeles” along with a fresh installment of “Golden Boy,” which equaled last week’s 1.5 rating in adults 18-49.

Fox’s only original program was “Hell’s Kitchen,” which held steady with a 1.9 in the 18-49 demo.

NBC coasted to a win for prime time overall with a 2.4 average rating in viewers 18-49, outdistancing the tight pack of CBS (1.6 average), Fox (1.5), Univision (1.5) and ABC (1.5). However, CBS turned the tables in total viewers, winning the night with 9.8 million to ABC’s 8.9 million, NBC’s 6.8 million, Univision’s 3.6 million and Fox’s 3.4 million.
