Ozzy Osbourne took to Facebook to deny reports that he and Sharon, who married in 1982, have split, reports People.

“Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing," he wrote. "I’m just trying to be a better person."

Osbourne, 64, wrote that he had been taking drugs and drinking during the past year and a half, describing it as "a very dark place." He added that he has been sober for 44 days.

"I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behavior during this period," he wrote. "And [to] my fans."

TMZ had reported that the longtime pair had split up, at least temporarily, with Sharon living at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
