ABC has canceled a drama series after just five airings, reports our friend Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com. 

The canceled series is "Mind Games," which stars Christian Slater and Steve Zahn.

Andreeva writes that the series debuted to a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 category, and then "dived to a 0.6 in its second week, matching that rating again this Tuesday when it was hampered by the the lack of original lead-in. ‘Mind Games’ became the third ABC drama casualty in the Tuesday 10 PM slot this season, joining canceled freshmen ‘Lucky 7’ and ‘Killer Women.’"

"Mind Games" will be replaced by reruns of "Ressurection," and then, on April 15, "Celebrity Wife Swap."
