The CW’s “Gossip Girl” is cutting the character of Brooklyn trust funder Aaron Rose, played by John Patrick Amedori, after he failed to catch on with viewers, the New York Post reports. The show, which will air new episodes starting Jan. 5, may see the return of Michelle Trachtenberg in a guest role as the evil Georgina Sparks.
