Connie Stevens, the secretary and treasurer of the Screen Actors Guild, was awarded the American Spirit Award on Sunday from the Caucus for Television Producers, Writers and Directors, the Hollywood Reporter says. Stevens has been a SAG member since 1957 and held her current role at the union since 2005, the trade paper says.
