BestBuy.com partners with NetRadio
BestBuy.com, the e-commerce arm of retail store Best Buy, has entered into a co-branding and advertising agreement with online audio content distributor NetRadio. Under the arrangement, NetRadio will provide audio content that will be played on BestBuy.com’s site. BestBuy.com will tender payment in exchange for the new content. BestBuy.com will use the new online radio content as an advertising platform, conveying new price discount offers to targeted customers.
LivePlanet contest finalists to use Avid tools
A small group of aspiring filmmakers who have been named as finalists in LivePlanet’s “Project Greenlight” contest will have access to Avid’s high-tech post-production tools when filming works to be entered in the project’s final round of competition.
LivePlanet, which produces films to be viewed on both new and traditional media platforms, was founded by a team of producers and actors, including Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. This month, Avid awarded the contest finalists both a cash prize and copies of the company’s film editing software. A documentary chronicling the filming of Project Greenlight entries will be aired on HBO next year.
