LivePlanet contest finalists to use Avid tools
A small group of aspiring filmmakers who have been named as finalists in LivePlanet’s “Project Greenlight” contest will have access to Avid’s high-tech post-production tools when filming works to be entered in the project’s final round of competition.
LivePlanet, which produces films to be viewed on both new and traditional media platforms, was founded by a team of producers and actors, including Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. A documentary chronicling the filming of Project Greenlight entries will be aired on HBO next year.
