EM/Ad Age upfront summit features Bob Pittman speech

Robert Pittman, co-chief operating officer of AOL Time Warner, will keynote the Upfront Television Advertising Summit presented May 1 in New York by Electronic Media and Advertising Age.
His lunchtime remarks will culminate a morning of discussion of this year’s syndication, cable and network upfronts, and a special session debating the future of the upfront ad market. Electronic Media Editor Chuck Ross and Advertising Age Editor Scott Donaton will moderate the event, which will be held from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Grand Central and 42nd streets.
Mr. Pittman will speak at a luncheon honoring Electronic Media’s national, regional and Internet media buyers of the year: Mel Berning, president of U.S. Broadcast for MediaVest U.S.; Cathleen Campe, senior vice president and director of regional spot broadcast for Rubin Postaer & Associates; and Mark Stephens, director of media services, Lot21 Productions.
