DoubleClick to deliver ads for Meredith
Magazine publishing company Meredith has established an alliance with Internet advertising company DoubleClick to use the latter’s advertising solution in the e-mail newsletters associated with Meredith’s magazine Web sites. Targeted ads will be inserted into the newsletters of several Meredith magazine sites, including BHG.com (Better Homes and Gardens), LHJ.com (Ladies’ Home Journal) and FamilyMoney.com.
HGTV runs Wink
interactive ads
Home and Garden Television is running an interactive ad promotion with technology created by Wink Communications. The ad promotion allows viewers to register for a dream home giveaway by using a remote control. The ad will run through March 15.
CNN sites introduce streaming ads
Three of CNN’s Web sites-CNN.com, CNNfn.com and CNNSI.com-are running a trial series of streaming ads through April 15. Among the advertisers taking advantage of the trial are MCI WorldCom and Volvo. EyeWonder and Bluestreak will deliver the ads.
Adelphia to deploy
Commerce.TV, which adds t-commerce enhancements to digital interactive cable services, announced an agreement to deploy interactive services for customers of multiple system operator Adelphia Communications.
