The Hallmark Hall of Fame Collection-representing 50 years of Hallmark Hall of Fame programming-can only be seen on the Hallmark Channel, which launched Aug. 5. That’s significant not only because viewers can watch movies from the most awarded film library in television history each Wednesday and Sunday, but also because advertisers have never before been able to buy time during the films. Now, on Hallmark Channel, they can.
“People expect to find something like Hallmark Hall of Fame Collection on the Hallmark Channel, and the franchise has been a huge cornerstone of our prime-time programming strategy,” said Chris Moseley, executive vice president, worldwide marketing and brand strategy, Crown Media Holdings [parent company of the Hallmark Channel]. “It’s one of the highest rated prime-time franchises that we have. We plan to run the series indefinitely.”
