EM on NATPE screens

Electronic Media will telecast its daily NATPE News TV shows throughout the convention city of Las Vegas and around the world Tuesday through Thursday. The program, anchored by newscaster Tanji Patton of KMOL-TV, San Antonio, will feature exclusive reports from the National Association of Television Program Executives conference and the world of television programming.
Las Vegas hotel telecasts and worldwide satellite feeds will begin at 6 a.m. (ET) Tuesday, Jan. 22, and run through Thursday, Jan. 24. The one-hour programs will also be streamed through February on EMonline.com.
The daily news program will include news from the National Association of Television Program Executives convention and scheduled reports on television programming. These will include looks at the impact of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on TV talk shows; the “time machine” programming compression controversy; the ad industry’s presence at NATPE; modern TV production; new ideas in interactive television; the state of local TV ad sales; international programming sales; and a report on the war in Afghanistan produced on the USS Roosevelt.
Satellite feeds are at 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (ET) daily and will repeat from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Satellite coordinates are Galaxy 3R, Transponder 2 (North America); PAS 3, 1 K Lower (Europe); and PAS 2, 6C Slot E (Asia/Pacific).
