Sesame Workshop, creator of such brands as “Sesame Street,” “Dragon Tales” and “Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat,” has named Tamra Seldin VP of marketing, global consumer products and international TV distribution. Ms. Seldin will be responsible for developing product-marketing strategies for all properties. She will seek out new business initiatives and cross-pollinate the Workshop’s domestic and international TV and licensing activities as they relate to brand building. Most recently Ms. Seldin was VP, marketing, for Mommy and Me Enterprises. Before that she spent seven years with The Walt Disney Co., creating marketing strategies for consumer products in Disney film, video and television properties.
