Alan Cumming has signed to star in a Warner Bros. and Castle Rock Entertainment drama pilot for NBC. The pilot, based on the Jake Kasdan motion picture “Zero Effect,” will be written and executive produced by Walon Green. Mr. Kasdan will direct and executive produce. Mr. Cumming is repped by ICM. … Scott Foley has been cast to headline the NBC sitcom pilot “AUSA,” from Rich Appel, 20th Century Fox Television and NBC Studios. Mr. Foley is repped by the William Morris Agency and Handprint Entertainment. … Annabella Sciorra is said to be close to joining the cast of CBS drama pilot “Queens Supreme” from Regency Television and CBS Productions. Revolution Studios and Shoelace Productions are producing. Tim Robbins is directing, Kevin Fox is writing and executive producing. Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Dan Thomas and Deborah Schindler are also executive producing. Ms. Sciorra is repped by Frank Frattaroli. … Anne Meara will take part in “Two Families,” a pilot by Warner Bros. for CBS. Chuck Lorre will write and executive produce the pilot. … Skeet Ulrich will play the lead in Touchstone Television and Spyglass drama pilot “Miracles” for ABC. Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum and Richard Hatem will executive produce. Mr. Hatem is also the writer behind the pilot.
