EarthLink to offer Web via AT&T network
AT&T Broadband has agreed to let EarthLink offer its high-speed cable Internet service over AT&T Broadband’s network. The first two markets in which EarthLink will launch its service are Boston and Seattle. More cities are expected to be added in 2003.
`No Boundaries’ extends to Web play
Spiderdance has created an interactive version of The WB TV show “No Boundaries,” which premiered March 3. Viewers who go to www.noboundariestv.com can create their own teams and play along with the TV show in real time.
TVN answers Comcast’s demand for video
TVN Entertainment, which manages and delivers video-on-demand programming for cable operators, signed a deal to provide services to Comcast, the third-largest multiple system operator in the country. Comcast will use TVN’s Adoniss suite of services to manage and deliver VOD and subscription VOD programming from cable networks to its subscribers. TVN is also in final negotiations with Insight, the eighth-largest MSO, and MediaCom, the seventh-largest, to provide them with VOD and SVOD delivery services.
