EM-Ad Age panel: Upfront Summit May 8

More than 400 media buyers and sellers will come together May 8 to explore this year’s television ad market at the Upfront Summit in New York. The summit, presented by Electronic Media and Advertising Age, will feature four “superpanel” discussions, on broadcast, cable, syndication and integrated marketing.
Panel members will include David Cassaro, executive VP, sales and distribution, E! Networks; Ed Erhardt, president, ESPN/ABC Sports customer marketing and sales; Julie Kantrowitz, chief operating officer, global marketing solutions, AOL TW; Dennis McCauley, co-president, network sales, Univision Networks; Dan Rank, managing director, broadcast television, OMD USA; Mark Rosenthal, president and COO, MTV Networks; Mike Shaw, president, sales and marketing, ABC Television Network; and Michael Teicher, executive VP, media sales, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
The 2002 Upfront Summit starts Wednesday, May 8, at 8 a.m., with registration and a continental breakfast at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan. It includes a Media Buyers of the Year luncheon honoring Jason Maltby of MindShare USA; and Lisa Cragoe of GSD&M.
