Upfront Summit in New York

A panel of media experts will examine integrated marketing and its impact on how advertising is bought and sold May 8 at the New York.
Scott Donaton, editor of Advertising Age, will lead the discussion, which will include Julie Kantrowitz, chief operating officer, Global Marketing Solutions, for AOL Time Warner; Whitney Goit, senior VP, A&E Networks; Arlene Manos, president of Rainbow National Network Advertising Sales; Jim McDowell, VP, marketing, for BMW North America; and Mark Rosenthal, president and COO of MTV Networks.
The session will focus on the increasingly important role of cross-media buying and selling. It’s part of a day-long media buying event produced by Advertising Age and Electronic Media, which will include a luncheon and superpanel sessions on the broadcast, cable and syndication upfronts.
The luncheon includes a Media Buyers of the Year presentation honoring Jason Maltby of MindShare USA and Lisa Cragoe of GSD&M.
