Tune in to NCTA with EM’s on-site TV news

Electronic Media Television will offer daily newscasts from this year’s National Cable and Telecommunications Association Convention in New Orleans, beginning at 6 a.m. (CT) Monday.
EM’s “Cable 2002 TV News,” anchored by CNN’s Holly Firfer, will run continuously on cable systems at two dozen convention hotels, exclusively at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and on shuttle buses. It will also be streamed an EMonline.com, courtesy of the Feed Room. Daily satellite feeds, courtesy of PanAmSat, will be available at 9 a.m. and noon (ET) on SBS 6, Transponder 17.
Content will include seminar, speech and exhibit floor coverage from news crews, plus field reports covering cable industry issues from broadcast news veterans Mike Sanford, Peter Bernard and David Gaynes.
EM Television is the only television news-gathering operation providing on-site, original programming of daily NCTA events.
EM’s “Cable 2002 TV News” can be seen on the following hotel channels in New Orleans: Bourbon Orleans Hotel, Channel 33; Chateau Sonesta, Channel 58; Courtyard by Marriott-Convention Center, Channel 7; Courtyard by Marriott-Downtown, Channel 21; Doubletree Hotel, Channel 15; Embassy Suites, Channel 44; Fairmont Hotel, Channel 44; Hampton Inn & Suites-Convention Center, Channel 10; Hilton New Orleans Riverside, Channel 33; Holiday Inn Chateau Lemoyne, Channel 14; Holiday Inn French Quarter, Channel 11; and Holiday Inn Select, Channel 23.
