Discovery Networks has named Anne Murphy as its VP of strategic marketing for affiliate sales and marketing. Ms. Murphy most recently was a long-term contractor for the cable network. As VP she will oversee affiliate marketing activities for 12 domestic networks and will lead the development and execution of affiliate-based marketing programs, guiding the department’s events, sales, strategy, promotions, retail marketing and trade marketing teams. Ms. Murphy has received eight CTAM awards for consumer print, on-air and consumer campaigns.
