Quick Takes

“`Bram and Alice’ will likely be the first to die. The fact that CBS has already moved it to 8:30 tells me they don’t have a lot of confidence in it. (Not that `Becker’ will fare better.) The Eye Net would be better off scheduling `Sharon, Lois & Bram’ from Nickelodeon there.”
Myke Perrey, special projects producer, WTTV (WB), Indianapolis
“I’m afraid it’ll be `Push, Nevada’ because of its tough time slot, but it should be `In-Laws’-the dictionary definition of `stale sitcom-if just to set free Dennis Farina and Jean Smart.’
Rick Kushman, television critic, Sacramento (Calif.) Bee
“CBS’s `Bram and Alice.’ They’ve switched the play on `Becker,’ and it was originally supposed to be the 8 p.m. lead-off on Sunday nights. It’s so appalling and so unlike CBS’s audience, and it’s such a high-profile spot I think it’s going to be gone soon.”
Ellen Gray, television critic, Philadelphia Daily News
