This week we welcome TV prognosticator Phillip and his weekly column, The New Television, to the pages of Electronic Media.
Phil is a foremost expert on interactive TV and brings to our technology page a unique insight that I’m convinced will prove invaluable for staying ahead of the curve. Readers can depend upon the column’s exclusive news and hard-hitting analysis week after week to keep them up to the minute on the developments in the ITV and technological universe.
Besides being president and CEO of TVPredictions.com, a Web site devoted to television and its future, Phil is the author of “TV dot COM: The Future of Interactive Television” (TV Books, 2000) and was founder of TV Online Magazine, the country’s first periodical dedicated to ITV.
In an area as crucial to EM’s readership as television’s future is-especially at a time when the possibilities seem increasingly complicated and confusing-Phil’s singular perspective will identify and interpret what’s ahead in an accessible, easy-to-understand way. He’ll be a great asset to EM and its readers, and I’m pleased and proud to have him aboard.
Chuck Ross is the publisher and editorial director of Electronic Media.
