WB orders two drama pilots

The WB picked up two drama pilots yesterday including one from former WB President Susanne Daniels’ production company.

Ms. Daniels’ First Move Productions along with Michigan J. Productions will produce “Chasing Alice,” about a female cop from Scotland Yard moves to New York City from London in search of her missing sister. In New York, she meets characters who parallel those in Alice and Wonderland. Ms. Daniels and Scott Lobdell are the executive producers.

The network also picked up “Shadow Walkers,” a drama about married archeologists and their teen-age kids who must track down real creatures from legends and folklore after letting them escape from Pandora’s box. Dan Angel and Billy Brown will write and executive produce. Mel Gibson and Bruce Davey from Icon Productions and Greg Coote and Jeff Hayes from Coote/Hayes company are also executive producers. It will be produced in association with Regency Television.
