Sal Maniaci has been promoted to VP, development and production, for TV Land and Nick at Nite. Mr. Maniaci will oversee the development and creation of TV Land and Nick at Nite’s original programming efforts. Mr. Maniaci will be responsible for the development and production of several programming initiatives, including The TV Land Awards: A Celebration of Classic TV, TV Land Legends: The 60 Minutes Interviews and The Alan Brady Show, an animated pilot based on Carl Reiner’s character from The Dick Van Dyke Show. Most recently Mr. Maniaci served as VP, current series and sports production, for The New TNN, TV Land’s corporate sibling. At TNN he oversaw production of Conspiracy Zone and Ultimate Revenge. Before joining TNN, he was VP, current series, at Nickelodeon, which he first joined in 1994 as executive in charge of production. Before going to Nickelodeon he was director of production for Lifetime Television. Mr. Maniaci began his career as a page at CBS.
