Latinos Promote Positive Images
Hector Elizondo will host the 18th annual Imagen Awards Gala Thursday in Beverly Hills, Calif. The Imagen Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 1985 to encourage and recognize the positive portrayal of Latinos in all media, will present awards in 23 categories, including best drama series.

“We’re Fighting For Freedom of Speech, So Kindly Shut Up!” is a Writers Guild panel on Thursday in Los Angeles discussing freedom of speech issues during crisis and war. A Forward pass for Hi-def television
iN Demand and CSTV: College Sports Television are expected to announce early this week a strategic partnership to go heavy on high-definition telecasts of college sports programming on iN Demand’s 24-hour HD network INHD. The partnership will kick off with Division I football games in September, when CSTV is expected to feature a “game of the week” simulcast in HD on INHD and in standard format on CSTV.
