“[CBS Chairman and CEO] Les Moonves has been at the right place at the right time. Things have turned around very nicely in terms of their programming. They’ve made some dents on Thursday night and had some pretty good development this year.” … “CBS has to look for a second night of comedy but has to keep the first night [Monday] intact.” … “They just have a problem with real estate. There’s no place to put any comedies. It’s just too competitive because their bar is not so high either. Still Standing has a strong chance of coming back.” … “Year-round, CBS does reality better than anyone else. After all is said and done you’ve got to look and say Survivor works, Amazing Race works, Star Search is doing better. None of the other networks have that many [reality] shows they can absolutely put on their schedule for the fall.”
