ABC Entertainment Television Group has named Sheldon Rabinowitz senior VP, finance. Mr. Rabinowitz will be responsible for all financial, accounting and planning functions for ABC Entertainment, Touchstone Television, ABC Daytime and ABC Kids. Before joining ABC, Mr. Rabinowitz served two years as senior VP and chief financial officer for TVN Entertainment, a packager and distributor of entertainment and direct-response advertising content for digital, on-demand and interactive tiers of programming. Previously, he spent eight years at Sony Pictures Entertainment, where he began in 1992 as senior VP, finance, before being promoted to executive VP, finance, in 1995. Mr. Rabinowitz spent one year at Hanna-Barbera Productions, serving as senior VP and CFO. He has also held positions at Itel Corp. and Ernst & Young, both in New York City.
