Anyone doubting America’s fascination with crime need only look at the TV ratings to see that shows about criminal justice are more popular than ever. Now crime and TV come together in a powerful way in “Law & Order: Crime Scenes,” to be published by Barnes & Noble in October. It features more than 100 photos of crime scenes (such as the one shown here) from the show, shot by Jessica Burstein, an acclaimed photographer who has been on the case since 1994. The book includes an introduction by Dick Wolf, creator and producer of “Law & Order,” now the longest-running drama on network TV.
