To help launch its new fall shows, CBS will get promotional help from Viacom sister companies VH1, Comedy Central and the CBS-owned station group.
VH1 will air an hour-long special, “VH1 Goes Inside Survivor”-which includes exclusive interviews and clips from past shows-15 times leading up to the Sept. 18 launch of “Survivor: Pearl Islands.”
Comedy Central will have the cast of “King of Queens” host a CBS-themed night for the network’s comedies, such as “Two and a Half Men,” starring Charlie Sheen. CBS-owned stations will air a half-hour “CBS Sneak Peek” of the network’s six new shows.
