This is a partial list of recent grants from the Walter Kaitz Foundation:
CTAM: $35,000 for a program to help cable marketers build their skills in multicultural marketing
CTHRA (Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association): $55,800 to develop a course in scouting, selecting and retaining diverse talent
Emma Bowen Foundation for Minority Interest in Media: $50,000 to create a mentoring program for foundation students and graduates
NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers): $25,000 for a writing laboratory and to develop workshops on budgeting, writing and scheduling projects
NAMIC (National Association of Minorities in Communications): $50,000 for an executive leadership development program
Polytechnic University: $50,000 to fund an initiative in the university’s Center for Youth in Engineering and Science, and to establish a career counseling program focused on the cable industry
WICT (Women in Cable & Telecommunications): $50,000 to provide support for people of color to attend the WICT national leadership program
