A yoga bag stuffed with selected beauty products from Lancome Paris is among the goodies in this year’s extravagant Emmy Presenters’ Gift Baskets, valued at more than $30,000. The bags, given to presenters during Emmy rehearsals, also include certificates for a dinner at private room at Morton’s in L.A.; a spa visit; a portable DVD player pre-loaded with Buick’s “Tiger Trap” DVD; a DirecTV DVR system with TiVo service for one year; treats from Ethel M. Chocolates; an “X1” espresso/cappuccino maker; a Kate Spade travel tote; a Calypso timepiece; Nokia’s three latest phone models; Rembrandt toothpaste; six days at the St. Regis resort & spa in Bora Bora Nui; membership at The Sports Club/L.A.; and a Tempur-Pedic Swedish mattress. As if that weren’t enough, last week Lancome also provided manicures, pedicures, makeovers and products to invited guests during an event at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, along with advice on how to look trendy on the red carpet. For those who like to chill out after the party, Lancome also threw in a yoga mat.
