Playoffs Pump Up Fox Shows

The baseball playoffs and World Series, especially now that they appear to be attracting a large audience, present a powerful opportunity for the Fox network to promote its shows.
The programs that will most benefit are the new drama “Skin,” the new sitcom with Norm Macdonald “A Minute with Stan Hooper” and the returning hit drama “24.”
Why those shows? They all target a male audience, and baseball generally draws a high concentration of male viewers.
A Fox spokesman said other shows also will enjoy promotional exposure on the fall sports telecasts.
