The U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington last week upheld a Federal Communications Commission ruling requiring TV set manufacturers to include digital TV tuners by July 2007 in all television receivers with screens larger than 13 inches.
The Consumer Electronics Association challenged the FCC decision, but the court said the agency had the legal authority to act under the All Channel Receiver Act.
