DIC Entertainment has named Kevin O’Donnell to the newly created position of senior VP of creative affairs. Mr. O’Donnell is co-founder of Poet’s Road, a development and multimedia production outfit that he has moved to DIC headquarters. He is charged with overseeing concept and script development for all television programming. To complement DIC’s expanding library of animated programming, he will develop original properties for the U.S. programming block, DIC Kids Network and DIC’s international distribution pipeline in addition to developing and producing.
Mr. O’Donnell collaborated with DIC as the creator of the children’s series “Liberty’s Kids,” and he has produced or written numerous interactive games, scripts and interactive programming. Mr. O’Donnell began his production career at Dick Clark Productions.
