As president of Telepictures Productions, Jim Paratore spent the year developing reality shows for Warner Bros. Television’s production unit. As executive VP of Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, he helped get Warner Bros. programs seen in syndication and on cable. Mr. Paratore, who spends “110 percent” of his time in distribution in addition to working in development, said he’s proudest of his company’s dual launch last year of the daytime strips “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and “The Sharon Osbourne Show” in syndication. “The good news is I started out with no hair,” Mr. Paratore said of his increased workload. “In these times, with vertical integration the rule of the day, I’m very lucky to be working at all.”
