Twentieth Television surprised several Tribune station executives during the National Association Television Program Executives conference with makeovers from the crew of “Ambush Makeover” and it appears to have paid off. The company has now nabbed clearances for the reality strip with 70 percent of the national marketplace sold. Stations recently signed include NBC owned-and-operated stations in San Francisco (KNTV-TV) and Miami (WTVJ-TV), Tribune-owned WXIN-TV/Fox in Indianapolis, Sinclair-owned WPGH-TV/Fox in Pittsburgh and Bay Cities-owned XETV-TV/Fox in San Diego. In addition, Twentieth has added clearances to “On-Air With Ryan Seacrest,” which has tallied 95 percent of the country. “Good Day Live” will come back with 60 percent of the country on board so far. “Divorce Court” is renewed in 70 percent of the nation, “Texas Justice” is at 65 percent and “Cops” boasts clearances of more than 80 percent of the country.
